Funding approved for "Minimisation of End-of-Life Waste in Footwear Industry" project

Loughborough Universities IMCRC have approved funding for a comprehensive 2 year research project looking at waste minimisation with the footwear sector. The overall aim of the proejct is to minimise the amount of post-consumer footwear waste send to landfill through generation of eco-design guidelines and bespoke recycling processes that underpin the realisation of a sustainable product recycling chain for the footwear sector.
